Newseum Global, founded in 2023, is the brainchild of Barnali Pal Sinha, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).
She has nearly 23 years of experience in Journalism having worked with Indian national dailies like the Times of India, the Deccan Chronicle, The Statesman, the Deccan Herald, the Daily News and Analysis (DNA). Besides, eight years in digital media with stints at the International Business Times’ Australia, US and UK editions as well as IBT Media’s sister publication Latin Times and Tune Media, she has carved a niche for herself in the media industry.
At a time when technology has made it possible for journalists to tell engaging stories and directly connect with their target audience and communities through social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc., Barnali realised the potential of harnessing digital media and started her own venture. She wanted to make news more accessible, engaging, interactive and timely as well.
